Sunrise Coal, LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Hallador Energy Company (NASDAQ: HNRG), is Indiana’s 2nd largest coal producer. The company is focused on developing coal reserves in the Illinois Basin. Current assets include:

• A 230MM ton complex of high-quality bituminous, low-chlorine coal located along the Indiana-Illinois boarder: Carlisle Mine (65MM tons), Oaktown 1 (65MM tons) and Oaktown 2 (100MM tons)
• Bulldog Reserve , Vermilion County, Illinois (55MM tons): expected to be operational in 2015-2016
