Professional hydro jet drain cleaning uses high pressure water to clean out the pipes from the inside. However, there are easy steps you can take reduce buildup in the first place. Here is a simple suggestion: Use a garden hose and pour about 8 ounces (1 cup) of caustic degreaser into the drain. Insert the hose into the drain and let it run for about a minute. The degreaser will convert the oil in the pipe into soap where it will wash out easily. Any caustic degreaser would work including our product Wipe Out, which is our most powerful degreaser. Our asphalt release agent is made with methyl esters and is very low in Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC's), meaning they will not release toxins into the air. This is also a much cheaper alternative to mineral oil based release agents. This product is available in 275 gallon totes.
