The company Struber Entsorgung GmbH is located approx. 25km south of the city of Salzburg in the market town of Kuchl, in the Weissenbach district. Our location is located on an area of ​​2.8 hectares and has existed since 1996. After the originally used agriculture became too small for the activities that were still manageable at the time, it was decided to build the business on the current location.

The Salzburg company, Struber Entsorgung GmbH, can look back on half a century of successful work in the service of the environment. 50 years in which the history of the company was also a reflection of the dynamic development in the domestic waste management industry.

In the beginning there was household waste

The beginnings of the Struber company in 1961 can almost be described as the “classic” beginning of a domestic waste disposal company. At that time, Johann Georg Struber, the grandfather of the current owner of the company, Johann Struber jun., Started collecting household waste from households in his immediate vicinity with a team consisting of two oxen. A service that was simple at the time, but already extremely effective and perfectly executed. In 1974 the first “modern” garbage truck was put into operation, which heralded a new era in household waste transport for the Struber company. Two years later there was a generation change when Johann Struber senior joined the company. in the parental business. Until 2009 he was responsible for the fortunes and further development of the company.

Continuous further corporate development

And the company continued to develop rapidly: in 1978 the first container wagon was purchased and the range of services offered was expanded. In 1988 a street cleaning company was taken over and in 1993 the climax was the conclusion of partner contracts with Altstoff Recycling Austria and Austria Papier Recycling.

Expansion of disposal activities

In 1996, the current managing director of Struber began building up a new division of waste management for the company: earthmoving. Encouraged by initial successes, the offer was expanded to include all earthworking activities just two years later. In addition to dismantling, demolition and dismantling, the services also include the areas of excavation, road and drainage construction, soil sounding and soil surveys. The range of services in earthworks is completed by services in the field of remediation and disposal of product-specific contaminated sites and contaminated soils. The company today

Today we are a state-of-the-art company that works on behalf of the environment. We employ around 65 people and own 42 vehicles, including trucks, shredders, excavators and wheel loaders. We now also have four electric cars in our inventory.
