Stevested specializes in precision machining of prototype and small run hard metal components. Metals commonly machined are Aluminum, Aluminum-Nickel Bronze, Inconel, Titanium, Plastics, Stainless Steel 13-8, 15-5 17-4, and Steel Alloys 4330, 4340.  We offer true 5 axis machining up to a size of X,Y,Z > 59” x 49” x 39”. CNC Milling up to X,Y,Z > 64” x 32” x 30”. CNC turning capabilities consist of 4 axis machining with the capability to turn 28” in diameter with up to 39” between centers. CNC vertical turning up to 70” in diameter and 48” height . Manually we can support a vertical turning envelope of up to 144” in diameter at 102” in height and a manual milling envelope of 52” cube.
