We are an independent retail jewelry store located in Wethersfield, Connecticut. Founded in 1947, Sterling Jewelers is owned and operated by Carla and Don Unwin. From humble beginnings in downtown Hartford, Connecticut, Sterling Jewelers has grown into central Connecticut's leading trusted jeweler. Today we are located in a free standing building on the Silas Deane Highway in the beautiful and historic town of Wethersfield. Just off I-91, visiting Sterling Jewelers is easy to get to and just minutes from anywhere in Connecticut.

For sixty three years couples in greater Hartford have been getting engaged at Sterling Jewelers. We offer an extensive diamond collection and feature bridal jewelry by "Hearts on Fire" and "Simon G.". We are fine jewelers and are proud to represent many top of the line jewelry designers as well as emerging new designers. We're not only interested in the designers but the quality, craftsmanship and overall value of all the lines in our showroom. We're always searching for American designers and craftsman to feature in our store. We are proud to represent Tom Kruskal working in gold and sterling silver from Somerville, Massachusetts, Ed Levin working in gold and sterling silver from Cambridge, New York and the William Henry Studio from Mcminville, Oregon making the finest handmade pocket knives and pens you have ever seen.

We hand pick each and every diamond and gemstone we purchase. We only associate our store with quality jewelry manufacturers and have long standing relationships with our top companies. Every piece of jewelry in our store must meet our own high quality standards before we offer it to our clients.
