Steel Sales, Inc. is a second generation privately owned company. Formerly Westcott Steel, Steel Sales is owned and operated by Brenda Westcott; it is a certified Woman-Owned Business Enterprise and a certified Disadvantaged Business Enterprise.

Founded in 1963, the company began primarily manufacturing metal products like wood stoves, dumpsters, trailers, bleachers, and metal buildings. In 1988 the focus shifted to distributing a wide variety of steel, aluminum, and stainless products along with offering value added custom fabrication services to contractors, agri-businesses, aggregate industries, municipalities, maintenance departments, other welders/ fabricators, and the general public.

Located on State Highway 12, south of the Village of Sherburne, we have over two million pounds of steel, aluminum, and stainless in a variety of structural shapes, sheets, and plates in stock. Our fleet of trucks and outside sales team serves 18 counties around us. We offer competitive prices with excellent service for a few stock lengths, a few cut pieces or truckloads of our products.

We can shear 1/2" X 12' mild steel, saw up to 18” x 20”, roll 1/2" X 8' mild steel, and bend 1/2" X 12' mild steel. We also offer a variety of punching, drilling, milling and welding services (by certified welders) of all metals, along with pipe threading for 1/2" to 4" pipe and rebar bending from 3/8" up to 1 1/2" diameter. We have a High Definition CNC plasma table 8’ x 24’ with the latest True Hole technology.

We are an authorized distributor of Hardox, a premium wear plate, ADS/ HANCOR plastic culvert pipe, drainage pipe, sewer pipe, stabilization fabric and septic chambers, CONTECH metal culvert pipe, multi-plate pipe arches, and aluminum box culvert, and TENCO plow parts. We also offer metal roofing/siding from ABC and Weatheredge with a large choice of colors and grades, cut to your exact length.

In 2010, we introduced a product line including Sander Chains, Tire Chains, Snow Plow Blades, Snow Plow Wear Parts, and Construction Edges. All sander chains are fabricated at our facility with one week maximum lead times. Thank you for your interest in our company.
