Stanley Sanitation Ltd. has been keeping things clean and green since the Roaring Twenties! Founded by Alfred Stanley, back when waste wagons were horse-drawn and recycling was just a twinkle in the future, this family-run biz has rolled through nearly a century of waste adventures.

From humble curbside pick-ups in its early days to Ross Stanley snagging the first roll-off truck and four containers in 1970, we’ve always been ahead of the curve. Come 1986, Tyler’s dad Peter incorporated Stanley Sanitation Ltd. and brought in the very first front-end truck with 21 containers—talk about hauling history!

Today, Gayle Stanley and her son Tyler steer the family legacy with three front-end trucks and two roll-off trucks, servicing over 400 customers with 650+ front-end containers and 50+ roll-off containers. What started out serving just Almonte has now blossomed into a waste and recycling network reaching Carleton Place, Perth, Smiths Falls, Sharbot Lake, Pakenham, Arnprior, Renfrew, Carp, Stittsville, and beyond for front-end services, plus Kemptville and Renfrew for roll-off containers.
