Spherae's core business is the recovery and recycling of all waste containing mercury (neon lamps, mercury vapor lamps, high and low pressure sodium vapor lamps, mercury batteries, mercury zinc batteries, thermometers, dental amalgams, measurement, laboratory materials, sludge and earth) one of the most polluting chemical substances for the environment and for humans.

Parallel to this, Spherae deals with the collection, transport, treatment and recovery of WEEE or, more commonly defined as "Waste electrical and electronic equipment" (office equipment). All waste treated by us is done in full compliance with "BAT - Best Available Technology"; furthermore, the company has started to develop technologies for the treatment of photovoltaic panels.
