We manage the integrated waste cycle, street cleaning and other essential services for the environment, hygiene and decorum of cities.

AMBIENTE SPA is a joint-stock company with total public participation over which the 32 shareholders, all public administrations, exercise "control by law".

Since 1 May 2019, following the merger by incorporation with the companies Attiva SpA and Linda SpA, it has been operating by providing urban hygiene services for the municipalities of Pescara, Città Sant'Angelo and other municipalities in the province of Pescara.

The Company carries out local public services and operates in particular in the environmental sector relating to the municipality of Città Sant'Angelo, in the cemetery sector, dealing with the management of city cemeteries.

In reference to urban hygiene services, the principles established are;

a) the reduction of waste production;

b) the recovery and reuse of waste

c) the implementation of an integrated waste management system, which identifies the correct recovery/disposal path for each product fraction.

One of the main objectives pursued by AMBIENTE, within its competences, is to preserve but above all improve the environmental quality of the participating municipalities.

In this sense it is also necessary to undertake initiatives to raise awareness among citizens, associations, schools, managers of beach establishments, commercial users and restaurateurs about good environmental practices and correct separate waste collection.
