Southern Steel Detailers Inc. was founded in 1979 in Columbia, SC.  Glenn Sease has been the President of the company since 1997.  Since our founding, we have provided quality shop and erection drawings to steel fabricators across the United States.  We have seen exciting changes in the steel detailing industry throughout our history.  We began detailing by hand and using pencil then transitioned to 2-D computer programs like AutoCAD and A-Steel.  We have since updated to 3-D models and have been using Tekla Structures since 2007.
