The Society for the Management of the Advanced Recycling Center, SOGECAR, S.A., is the alliance of a group of companies, associated in this case for the management of the Zamudio CAR. All of them have extensive experience in industrial waste management, through the management and operation of waste treatment and recovery plants.
The plant located in Zamudio is publicly owned and SOGECAR has a concession from the Basque Government for its exploitation, valid since 1996. SOGECAR is one of the leading companies in the Basque Autonomous Community in terms of Hazardous Waste Management, Specifically, it is the main plant for the recovery of used oils and the only plant that has a facility for the regeneration of solvents.
We are a company that is enormously committed to the environment and sustainability, and for this reason we have an ISO 14001 environmental certification and we develop sustainable policies with the environment and society, through the implementation of Corporate Social Responsibility procedures.
