Smart Recycling is driven by the belief that sustainability work can be done much more efficiently, environmentally friendly and fun.
The company was founded in 2009 by Jakob Ribbing with roots in the travel industry. From there, he brought with him the key words high availability, speed and a pleasant welcome. He started the company with the ambition to help customers become the best at sustainability and to change an industry that was fraught with poor service and lack of innovation power.
In 2013, Jakob received the award "Stockholm's most enterprising person" from the Confederation of Swedish Enterprise.
Smart Recycling's services include everything from recycling, reuse, safe destruction of textiles and prototypes to lectures on sustainability. In the web-based system eSmart, you as a customer can get statistics on your sustainability work as well as reports that simplify your environmental reporting and your communication with employees and customers.
We work hard to be at the forefront when it comes to our own environmental work. Specifically, we strive for the best possible environmental disposal of all waste and recycled material and actively plan all transports as efficiently as possible. Of course, all transports are completely fossil-free with our own biogas cars.
