The story of Sfilacciatura Negro begins in the seventies, when two brothers from Biella decided to invest in the production of recycled fibers to offer to the nascent open-end spinning mills. An innovative idea for Biella.

The textile district, which since the beginning of the twentieth century had evolved towards the production of excellence in fabrics and yarns, enthusiastically welcomed a system capable of recovering and putting back on the market the textile waste and the scraps of their processing.

In the 2000s, simultaneously with the generational change at the top of the company, Sfilacciatura Negro increased its production capacity, investing in production plants and logistics, enhancing the skills and experience of human resources.

Today Sfilacciatura Negro is a consolidated reality in Italy and recognized in Europe, specialized in the recycling, sorting, fraying and mixing of natural and synthetic fibers specialized in the sound-absorbing sector for the automotive sector.
