Steel Erection

Based out of our Lake Oswego and Honolulu offices, Stearns currently has two steel erection operations serving the Pacific Northwest, Northern California, Nevada, and Hawaii. Stearns' crews unload, erect, plumb, bolt, and weld steel structures of various types in a variety of site, access, and climate conditions.
In addition to our commitment to pre-planning, safety, and quality assurance, by self-performing the steel erection on many of our own jobs, collaboration and communication are increased. Stearns' engineers receive immediate feedback directly from field crews, allowing them insider information on ways to increase efficiency. Furthermore, clients benefit from Stearns' direct control of jobsite activities and the greater accountability achieved by using our own resources.
