Our Journey

The Beginnings:

Zach opened the first authorized Verizon store in his college town, selling phones and plans to the community. His journey took a significant turn towards sustainability as he recognized that many people needed device repair and went on to open electronics repair retail locations. 
Recognizing the growing problem of electronic waste, repairing and refurbishing has always been a passion.

A Partnership Formed:

After serving as a geospatial engineer in the Army, Stoncia began a new chapter with Zach. Together, they ventured into online retail, starting with an eBay shop for Zach's existing businesses. Stoncia quickly expanded its reach by partnering with companies to sell their used electronics. Their collaboration grew into their online electronics store, SatComShop, where they work together full-time.

Rescue Recycle sprang from Stoncia and Zach's desire to make a meaningful impact.

Combining their business acumen with their passion for the environment and animal welfare, they created a company that’s not just about selling electronics—it’s about making a difference. As a female veteran-led business, Rescue Recycle proudly reflects Stoncia’s leadership and their joint commitment to positive change.
