REMA Systém, a.s. is a non-profit joint-stock company that was established to fulfill the obligations set out in the amendment to the Waste Act. 
The system was founded on February 14, 2005. It was initiated by the largest importers and producers of information technology and telecommunications in the Czech Republic. The main purpose of the REMA System's activity is to protect the environment by ensuring the effective recycling of waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE). For this purpose, the REMA System ensures the organization of collection, sorting, loading and recycling throughout the Czech Republic. The REMA System focuses on comprehensive solutions for all groups of electrical equipment.
REMA System implements the Green Company, Green School, Green Village, Be Lazy and re:Balík projects, within the framework of which it ensures the take-back of electrical equipment from schools, companies, municipalities and households. At the same time, it covers the Trash Made project, which is focused on the production of jewelry and accessories from electronic waste.

REMA Battery, s.r.o. is a non-profit limited liability company that was established to fulfill the obligations of manufacturers and importers of batteries and accumulators given by Act no. 297/2009. The main purpose of REMA Battery's activity is to protect the environment - by ensuring an effective system of take-back and recycling of batteries and accumulators. To support take-back, REMA implements the FamilyBox and BatteryBudka projects in cooperation with other companies. 
REMA Battery is authorized to operate a collective system for the take-back of batteries and accumulators based on the decision of the Ministry of the Environment dated 15 December 2009.

REMA PV Systém, as is a non-profit joint-stock company that was established to fulfill the obligations set out in the amendment to the Waste Act in 2012. 
REMA PV Systému follows on from the activities of REMA System and REMA Battery. The main purpose of the REMA PV System's activity is to protect the environment - ensuring an effective system of take-back and recycling of solar panels. The REMA PV System focuses on solving the problem of solar panels and other solar components as part of its activity.

REMA AOS, as is a non-profit joint-stock company founded at the end of 2015 for the purpose of fulfilling the obligations set out in the Packaging Act. Currently, the company is undergoing administrative proceedings at the Ministry of the Environment for the authorization of a packaging company.

REMA companies focus on comprehensive solutions as part of their activities. The financing of REMA's activities is ensured on the basis of a financial surcharge, which is added to the price of the product. It is binding for all clients within the REMA companies and is always the same for a given product so that it does not provide a competitive advantage.

REMA Systém is a holder of ISO 9001:2015 and  ISO 14001:2015 certificates . The certification was carried out by the renowned Swiss company SGS SA.
