About the Russell Family

Steve grew up in the Eastern, CT area, attending high school at Grasso Tech in Groton for Information Technology, where he now works as an IT trade instructor. Amberly grew up thousands of miles away in Utah, where she attended Utah State University, earning a degree in elementary teaching. After meeting online, Steve & Amberly both live in Groton with their daughter Aspen.

Steve is very active in his community, serving as a volunteer Firefighter/EMR for two local departments. He is known for his entrepreneurship, previously owning and running a custom teardrop camper company.

Amberly was previously a Special Education Teacher at a local elementary school before proudly becoming a full-time mom to Aspen.

Steve, Amberly, and Aspen spend their summers traveling in their tiny camper. Exploring new areas, hiking, and visiting family. They attend Groton Bible Chapel and are active in their church community.
