Recycle IT 4 Free was set up in 2013 to provide a service for the reliable removal, responsible recycling or reuse of IT assets that are no longer required by businesses.

Our objective is to provide your business with a free collection, data destruction and recycling service for quality computers, laptops and other office IT, so that as much as possible is reused and recycled rather than destroyed.

How Are We Regulated?

We are licensed by the Environment Agency and ensure that all elements of Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) are transported, sorted, and recycled correctly, satisfying all Government and EU regulations.

We are registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO). As a fully GDPR compliant 3rd party processor, our procedures guarantee that all your sensitive data is destroyed securely and absolutely, generating the certification required for your own GDPR and auditing processes.

We are committed to our environmental objectives and operate a zero landfill policy, our internal procedures ensure everything is correctly recycled or disposed of.

In line with current legislative requirements for the processing of Persistent Organic Pollutants (POPs) and disposal of WEEE assets we have joined forces with an industry leading company who provide services for IT assets requiring this kind of end of life disposal.

Now, furthering our social responsibility ambitions, we provide our new Silver Lining Asset Disposal Service. 50% of the value of the assets collected will go directly to our named local Community Interest Company, Every Cloud Play and Creative Arts Therapy, as a charitable donation.
