Who we are

Recicleta is a social enterprise and offers collection services for paper, cardboard, PET01 and HDPE02 plastic cans, LDPE04 film and aluminum cans for recycling. The program was created in 2009 by Viitor Plus – the association for sustainable development, which promotes both care for nature and social equity. That is why the transport of materials is done without polluting the air in the city, with cargo tricycles and electric cars, thus offering stable and legal jobs.

We collect small quantities of recyclable materials (maximum 150 kg, 1 cubic meter) from individuals, companies, schools and apartment buildings especially in Bucharest (see map). The service was specially created for the transport of small quantities, an alternative for specialized collection warehouses that can pick up large quantities of recyclables.

Recicleta is a social and environmental enterprise recognized at European level - in 2013 we won the grand prize, in the environmental section, in the Social Innovation Tournament organized by the European Investment Bank Institute. On a national level, we inspired the paper recycling activity developed by the Alba-Iulia City Hall, which adopted cargo-tricycle transport. Awards and recognition Recycle.
