About Company

Business idea

To use the resources available to Sweden's farmers to take care of and recycle the companies' waste in an environmentally correct way.

History In 1993, the parent company Ekmaco AB started an experimental operation for small-scale source sorting and recycling of waste from stores in Knivsta and Uppsala. Strengthened by the positive reception and the outcome, the subsidiary company Ekmaco ReAgro AB was formed in 1996, which we just call ReAgro in everyday life.

Our business concept is based on circular thinking and environmental awareness and we are active in large parts of the country. The concept is locally anchored waste management based on the local farmer taking care of the nearby companies' waste, which can be sorted into up to 20 different fractions.

This concept creates both jobs and income opportunities for the farmer, while the organic waste ends up as natural fertilizer on the own field. The actual collaboration between the farmer and ReAgro is based on franchising.

We have our headquarters in Knivsta between Uppsala and Stockholm. The company is part of a group with the parent company Ekmaco AB and the sister company Ekhamns Gård AB . The company group is owned by Clas Urell and Mikael Bengtson.
