Specifications of brass, bronze & copper alloys include 8.6 g/cu. cm maximum density, 36,000 psi maximum yield strength, 46,000 psi maximum ultimate tensile strength, 14 percent maximum elongation, up to 56 ft. lbs. impact strength, 86,000 psi maximum transverse rupture & up to 92 percent maximum conductivity. Brass, bronze & copper alloys are corrosion resistant & suitable for hardware & electric components.
