ProTek Recycling Inc. was founded by two engineering graduates from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute with the goal of developing a process for recycling all types of electronics from the ground up. Ultimately, it was important to develop a process that was both sustainable and cost-effective.

With this in mind, we strive to maintain minimal to zero-cost recycling and pickups for our clients. All of our services are designed to be simple and efficient, allowing our customers to focus on their core business without having to worry about the logistics of their waste stream.

We have more than 10 years of experience in the industry and, with over 2000 clients served in the Manhattan area, we understand the unique recycling challenges experienced by NYC-based businesses. In addition to serving the financial district and midtown Manhattan, our recycling services expand to businesses in New England, New Jersey, and the rest of New York.

Our mission is to develop a custom solution to fit each of our customer’s needs. From a one-time pickup to an ongoing program, we understand that each business requires something different. Our custom solutions ensure that your e-waste and data destruction is handled in a way that suits your business.

One aspect of our process that remains consistent is the protection of our customer’s data. Your data is never viewed, copied, or accessed. We also do not allow third parties to access your data containing material. When you use ProTek Recycling for your data destruction, we provide you with a certificate of destruction to document the data-containing devices that were destroyed.

Also, when you work with ProTek Recycling you can be assured that it will be our employees that personally come to your office and bring your equipment directly back to our warehouse. We do not use subcontractors or third parties to pickup or transfer the equipment.
