Certifications of Approval

Progressive Recycling is consistent in keeping with all the necessary Governmental Certificates of Approval in order to conduct business in accordance with the regulations mandated by the Province of Ontario. To achieve the highest standard for Food Waste Management, we have secured with the Province of Ontario three Certificates of Approval: Air Certificate 8543-44NYA, Storage Certificate 0053-5AJGMN as well as our Transportation Certificate A821310.

Recyclable Waste

The types of Food Waste we collect include: bread, dough, pastry products, soy products, chips etc.  We take all types of grain based products, but are strict in our adherence to not having any form of meat or meat products at our facility location.

We realize that you are busy running a production facility and are often looking for creative ways to alleviate time spent on phone calls, paperwork, scheduling etc. As a result our goal is to provide you with a one-stop shop that can efficiently remove all your waste outputs. With just one phone call, we can remove it all, worry free. Whether it is packaged food products, landfill waste or cardboard, we will remove it all and dispose of it appropriately and safely. Certificates of Destruction are available at your request should you require them. Some companies may also wish to come and witness the destruction of the waste on site. This is also an option and if you’d prefer we are also able to send pictures of the product being destroyed. Our ability to streamline pickup schedules will help you to keep your company running as efficiently as possible.

Location

Our destruction facility is located in Petersburg ON, just five minutes west of Kitchener and one block south of the expressway. We are situated on a beautiful landscape of 178 acres of farm land with room for expansion in the future should we require.
