Founded in 1972 by Bob Samples, Polymerics serves customers around the world and is globally recognized as a premier custom rubber mixing company. Although we have grown to two facilities and 80+ employees, we continue to operate as a small, lean, privately owned company. Operations began in 1972 in Akron, Ohio. In 1991, a second facility for "state-of-the-art" chemical blending was added in Kent, Ohio. Today, the Cuyahoga Falls location houses our sales and technical staff in addition to processing custom rubber compounds. Chemical blends are processed at the Kent location.
