Founded in 1998, in the form of an association for the integration of people in difficulty, Philtex and Recycling took the legal form of a SARL in 2005, more suited to its strong growth and geographic diversification.

Established mainly in Languedoc, Roussillon, Rhône Alpes and PACA, we operate in the sector of collection, sorting, recovery and recycling of used textiles.

Our approach, both social and ecological, allows:

- The creation of long-term jobs among populations in difficulty, in particular the long-term unemployed, single parents and the disabled,

- To preserve the environment by reducing the volume of incinerated waste,

- Pprovide additional funding to local charities with which we have partnership agreements (French Red Cross, French Secours populaire, Secours Catholique, Emmaüs, APA, etc.),

- To allow communities, and therefore taxpayers, to make substantial savings by minimizing their incineration costs.
