Pfaudler began in 1884 when Casper Pfaudler, a German brew master in Rochester, NY invented the process for glass-lining steel (known today Pfaudler’s Glasteel®). Originally invented for the purpose of vacuum fermentation of beer, Glasteel® become a vital part of many other industries along with our Edlon brand Fluoropolymer technologies due to their corrosion resistance, cleanliness and non-stick properties.
