For small house and flat removals were you may have plenty of your own manpower supplied by friends and relatives the savings compared to using a regular removals service can be huge. Many of our customers hire vans themselves when moving home and book our service for the manpower and extra van for the larger items they can’t move themselves.

The driver will help you load and unload your goods on and off the van and even position your furniture in your new home. He will ensure everything is secure on the van and advise you on the best methods to make the move as easy as possible for everybody.

Our Man and van services are usually booked on an hourly rate plus a surcharge for every mile travelled. The hourly rate from £55 per hour (for first hour, then £45 for each consecutive) will begin upon our arrival at your collection address and end upon completion of the task at your delivery address. We charge to the nearest half an hour following the first hour.

Mileage is charged at a rate of £1 per mile between your collection and delivery address. We only charge our hourly rate and mileage from your collection and delivery address and not our return journey.
Any ferry crossings, road tolls, congestion charges and parking charges are charged at cost for both the outward and return to our base here in Colchester.

Waste disposal:

Waste disposal must be carried out by licensed waste carriers. Using a registered waste disposal company eliminates the risk of your waste being “fly tipped” and YOU being prosecuted.
