We have an extensive inventory of carbon steel sheets and coils that are available for spot purchase and also facilitate a large contract and “blanket order” business for our bigger customers. We offer flexible terms and tailor our contracts to support the individual needs of each customer, resulting in decades of successful relationships.

We offer leveling, slitting, shearing, and blanking services and always have standard size sheets, coil and slit coil on the floor. We do this to minimize turnaround time and offer next day, and sometimes even same day delivery. History

FROM THE BEGINNING...

In 1980 Omni Steel was founded by Jeff Eget. Jeff grew up in the steel business and after college took a job at Capitol Metals which, at the time, was the largest steel service center west of the Mississippi. Jeff learned the industry from the ground up and in 1980 he used his extensive knowledge to start Omni Steel. From that date forward Omni has thrived as a family owned and operated business.

Jeff’s son Drew also got in to the steel industry after college. He joined Omni in 2009 and has helped shape it in to the company it is today. Jeff and Drew both spent their early years in outside sales which ingrained a customer oriented perspective to their leadership. They now run Omni Steel together and their customer first approach permeates the company’s culture every day.
