Oliveira Enterprises, Inc

Founded in 1996, Oliveira Enterprises, Inc. (OEI) is a family-owned and operated business built on a legacy of hard work, innovation, and a deep-rooted passion for agriculture. Led by father and son, Carlos and Brian Oliveira, our journey began long before OEI was established.

Carlos Oliveira immigrated to the united states from the Azores, Portugal, in 1969, bringing with him a love for farming and livestock. 

Shortly after arriving, he began working at a dairy in Tracy, CA, where he honed his skills and developed a strong foundation in the industry. After six years, Carlos took a leap of faith and started his own dairy business, which thrived for over a decade. When that chapter came to an end, he saw an opportunity to blend his expertise in dairy farming with a new venture—green waste recycling.

Through dedication and perseverance, OEI grew from a simple idea into a dynamic, multi-faceted enterprise. Today, we are an industry leader in high-quality organic compost, wood recycling, and sustainable agricultural solutions. What sets us apart is our holistic approach—we source, truck, and manufacture our recycled products entirely in-house. This ensures quality, consistency, and sustainability in every product we create. Our compost is made exclusively from clean, locally sourced materials from the Central Valley and Bay Area, supporting both regional agriculture and environmental stewardship.
