O’Brien Steel Erectors is an AISC Certified Erector located in the central valley of California, having offices in Stockton and Fresno. Incorporated in 2002, O’Brien Steel is lead by a third generation ironworker owner who grew up in the industry. The owners, having over 20 years of experience, spent much of their lives living and breathing steel erection through their experiences with Mid-State Steel Erectors, Inc. and are proud to provide quality service to their customers.

The name O’Brien was actually born out of reviving the name J.D. O’Brien Truck Crane & Rigging that was started in the 1950’s. The owner’s grandfather owned and operated J.D. O’Brien Truck Crane & Rigging that was located on the same property that we currently occupy.

O’Brien utilizes union ironworkers and is licensed and very active in both California and Hawaii. O’Brien focuses on safety, quality and efficient performance. We strive to create a team environment on projects and to perform better than expected with our experienced ironworkers and project managers.
