Northeast Structural Steel, Inc. was started in January of 2000 by the current President, Danielle Define. Her interest in steel erection began a few years earlier as an employee of Rice Mohawk U.S. Construction Co. Ltd; a major steel erector in the New York City Metropolitan area. After honing her skills at Rice Mohawk and the untimely death of its founder Leon Rice, Danielle was determined to carry on in the steel erection industry.

Employing some of her former colleagues, she launched Northeast Structural Steel. It did not take long for her fledgling company to establish a foothold in the industry and quickly become a sought after company for steel erection. Her vision and strong convictions to provide safe, efficient and quality steel erection has become the hallmark of Northeast.

Northeast has expanded from its traditional base of bridge erection and rehabilitation to the erection of buildings, precast concrete structures and even a tennis stadium. Northeast boasts one of the most impressive lists of clients in the Greater New York City area. The attention to quality and timely performance while adhering to strict safety controls is a testament to the highly skilled workforce employed by Northeast.

Ultimately, determination, dedication and the relentless pursuit of success from everyone on the Northeast team has resulted in the successful completion of some of the most significant projects in and around New York City.
