Chances Disposal is a local waste management company. We offer curbside trash pickup, curbside bin cleaning, roll off dumpster rentals, and grappling services for large yard debris.

Meet Derek G. Chance—born in Columbia, SC, now a proud Elgin resident for 15 years. Building on family roots in stump grinding started by his dad in 1993, Derek has steered Chances Disposal to new heights.

Chances Disposal Services is proud to have expanded services: roll-off dumpsters, added grappling services for large debris, launched bin cleaning in June 2024 and in April 2025 expanded into curbside pickup, investing over $250K locally this year so far.

Community is at our core: Chances Disposal Services has invested heavily in equipment, software, and local jobs. Additionally, we sponsor and Derek coaches youth sports (T-ball, U Softball), and we are proud to back events like Lights of Lugoff and Elgin Toy Roundup.
