Our Story

Moore's Welding Service, Inc. is a welding and fabrication shop in Leo, Indiana located just northwest of Fort Wayne. We specialize in offering metal fabrication, line boring, and machining, as well as heavy equipment repairs.

Since 1943, we have provided all types of business owners with welding and fabrication services that are customized to their needs. Our staff is made up of experienced, certified welders, and your satisfaction is our number one priority.

Our History

Moore's Welding Service, Inc. is one of the oldest and most respected family-owned businesses in the tri-state area. Founded in 1943 by Ray Moore, Sr., we originally started out repairing cases on motors manufactured by General Electric. Later, we expanded and started retrofitting for Tokheim®.

In addition to running a company, Ray also taught welding classes at Central High Vocational School for more than 33 years. He used all this experience to teach his son Mike all the welding skills he had mastered over the years. After Ray passed away, Mike took over the company and has remained president and sole proprietor ever since.

Today, Moore's Welding Service, Inc. has evolved to offer many welding specialties across a range of fields. From aluminum and stainless steel welding, to custom metal fabrication, we do it all. We also offer heavy machinery repair; like our motto says, "No job is too big or too small."
