Minnesota Hybrid Batteries was started by Brad Lindberg. In 2011, Brad rebuilt his first battery. That was thousands of battery modules ago. What started as a hobby has turned into an obsession. That obsession has translated into a desire to provide Prius owners with low cost, high value options when it comes time to replace their battery. He spent the last fourteen years developing a process for building top quality reconditioned batteries. At the end of 2024 Brad decided to pass the torch on to his son, Andrew.

Because of this, we offer a 12 month and unlimited mileage warranty. We have batteries ready to install with no waiting for you. Our service includes mobile installation at your location. There is no need or expense for towing or trying to drive your poorly performing Prius in for repair. A typical installation takes half an hour and appointments are available seven days a week. We are based in the Twin Cities and will travel to most of Minnesota for installation. Working locally saves you the cost and uncertainty of shipping heavy batteries from a national supplier.
