Midtex was founded on September 1, 1994 by Johan Hendrikse and René Wolters. The company is located in Middenmeer. Midtex buys clothing and used textiles, sorts, packs and exports to many parts of the world. Midtex specializes in second-hand clothing, vintage, cleaning rags and recycling materials. Used textiles

Used textile is a valuable waste stream. More than half of the clothing that is offered as second-hand in Western Europe can be used for a new market. Our society also demands sustainability and the reuse of raw materials. This also applies to textiles.

Certified sorting company

The best way to give used textile the greatest chance of reuse is to hand it over to certified sorting companies. Municipalities, but also providers such as associations, are thus assured of full transparency for the collection and processing of used textiles. The waste percentage is reduced to almost zero.

So by recycling and reducing waste, the environment is doubly relieved. Midtex is in possession of the TÜV certificate Assessment basis for Optimized Textile sorting process.

Import, export

Midtex imports high-quality used textiles mainly from Scandinavia, the US, the Netherlands and other European countries. After sorting and packaging, it is exported to the Far East, Middle East, Africa and Europe. More than 70% of the world's population has a need for used textiles. Naturally, the wishes differ per country.
