MI was founded in 1988, when the founder, Steve Orand, moved his family here after selling his business in Lafayette, LA. Over the next 25 years, what was a small screw machine shop grew into an integrated CNC machining and manufacturing facility, with multiple departments engaged in the relentless pursuit of excellence in fabrication in all types of metals, plastics, and assembly services. When we started, we had only one customer; and we take great pride in the fact that the partnership that we built with them is still going strong today.
