Our staff's technical background and ability to work with people has been the cornerstone of the company. We have produced jewelry for a very broad variety of clientele over the years. Our work has been worn celebrities, presidents and their wives, and kings and queens. Our pieces have also been used in the filming of movies.

Our expertise has allowed us commissions to produce exact replicas from 18K pieces hand made by Georges Braque and sent to us from the Louvre in Paris, France. We produce for galleries in Santa Fe NM, Aspen and Vail CO. as well as many other distinguished jewelery sellers. Additionally our product has been featured by catalog companies, department stores, and television/online retailers nationwide. We have produced parts such as bells, sheriff badges, lapel pins, machine parts and a whole host of others.

We are also early pioneers in the development of the new deoxidizing sterling silver alloys. We field tested of many of the prototype alloys created by United Precions Metal Refining Corporation ™ , thereby assisting them in the formulation of the excellent alloys they produce today. These alloys have no fire scale and are very resistant to tarnishing in the show case or jewelry box. We use them exclusively.

Services

We can do all services related to molding, casting, and finishing. We specialize in de-oxidize sterling silver and karat golds but also do brass, and bronze. Our prime function is as a production shop, structured for the mass production of quality jewelry.

Our mold making services include the manufacturing of rubber molds, in latex and silicon rubbers. We have a large variety of these molding materials available, from which we can select the best one suitable for your project. We are very good at this, having 25 years experience of mold making. We have done not only jewelry pieces, but also precise machine parts, and exact replicas of museum pieces. We are happy to work with our customers in the development of models that are properly executed in a manner that will mold and reproduce well. So many times this is the major problem that creates manufacturing defects!

The precious metal alloys that we use are supplied exclusively by United Precions Metal Refining Corporation ™. They are the forerunners in the development of deoxidizing technology. We realize that the most important asset that we have to offer is service! Because of this we maintain personal communication between our staff and our customers. Each of our customers is assigned to a personal representative, who is familiar with your account. This allows us to stay abreast of your needs.

Contract Production

Contract production manufacturing jewelers have become rare in recent times because they see greater profits in producing their own jewelry lines. The contract casting customer has found great difficulty in locating domestic casters who can expertly produce quality jewelry products. Also, the use of overseas production has many difficulties such as communication, viewing pre-production samples, and the lead time of delivery, to name just a few!

In order to secure a stable nitch within the industry, we at MESILLA VALLEY CASTINGS have chosen to continue as a contract manufacturer, exclusively for outside accounts. By doing this, all our energy is exclusively dedicated to the production of our customers products. There is not a conflict of our priorities, especially at peak times when our client's needs are greatest. Also concepts and designs are secure by using a manufacturer that is not looking for new ideas and trends, seeing yours! We do casting as well as start to finish manufacturing.
