John established Mesa Jewelers in 1991, and is the owner and President of the company. He has been a jeweler since 1976 and has been serving western Colorado and eastern Utah since 1982. He became a Gemologist from the Gemological Institute of America in July 2001. John is a member of Jewelers of America and Jewelers Board of Trade. He has been married to his wife , Jo, for 29 years and they have two children, Chris and Jenny. John is well known in the community and is proud to have such amazing customers, some 2nd and 3rd generations.

John Attonito John is a Journeyman Goldsmith and Diamond Setter. He graduated from the Joseph Bulova School of Jewelry Design and Repair on February 26, 1988. John has been designing and making custom jewelry along with all repair services on premises for Mesa Jewelers since 2002.

Chris Kelly Chris is a Gemologist at Mesa Jewelers and also a Certified Bench Jeweler. He attained his Gemologist (G.I.A.) Certification in January 2017 from the Gemological Institute of America. He also successfully completed the American School of Jewelry Certified Bench Jeweler Course in March 2015. He earned his degree of Bachelor of Science in Natural Resource Recreation and Tourism with a minor in Business at Colorado State University in December 2012.

Diana Hall Diana is the Manager of Mesa Jewelers. She joined our team in November 2010 and brings 10 years of jewelry experience with her. Her G.I.A. training consists of her attaining her Accredited Jewelry Professional Certificate in February 2009.

Brett Payton Brett is the Assistant Manager of Mesa Jewelers. He is currently a student at Colorado Mesa University and attained his Accredited Jewelry Professional Certificate in January 2017Devin Horvat Devin is a Sales Associate at Mesa Jewelers. He is a student and attained his Accredited Jewelry Professional Certificate in January 2017.

Jo Kelly Jo is our Web Content Manager and handles our social media. She started in the Jewelry Industry in 1982 and works part-time in our store as well.
