About Company

Established in 1991, MES Powder Coating is one of the largest powder coating shops in the Golden Horseshoe. Our plant is designed and operated to meet your powder coating needs with over fifty years combined staff experience and a dedication to quality and customer service.  MES Powder Coating is a division of Metal Equipment Services Ltd.  Multiple powder lines allow us to handle high volume orders and turn out quality parts faster than other vendors.  What’s more, we have the capacity for secondary operations including labeling, boxing, special packaging, and drop shipping direct to the end user. Why Powder Coat Your Metal?Powder coating gives all metal products a durable, scratch-resistant surface.  In addition it improves corrosion and wear resistance, acts as an electrical insulation and creates uniformity of the finish. Powder coating is the finish of choice in a growing number of applications.  It is widely used in the automotive industry when parts need a durable and/or decorative finish. Wheels, bumpers, mirror frames, oil filters, battery trays and coil springs are just some of the components in automobiles that utilize powder coating.  It is also widely used in the appliance industry on major appliance parts including washer tops and lids, range housings, freezer cabinets, dryer drums, microwave oven cavities and more.  Today everything from parking meters to high school lockers are being powder coated. One of the biggest advantages of the powder coating process is its simplicity. Powder coating allows for customized and rapid colour change and provides complete flexibility in the coating operation. Moreover powder coating requires no blends, so a uniform coating is easily achieved.  Since powder coating began some 30 years ago, vast improvements in technology have taken place. Today powder is applied with greater efficiency and with greater colour selection. There’s no build-up or over spray sludge and over-sprayed powder can be collected and reused. Powder produces a smooth finish, no runs, sags or heavy build-up. Conventional paint (Wet Spray) relies on solvents or water to convey the film binder over a surface. Powder needs no volatile carrier for coverage and flow.
