Frank Maixner is the Owner and Founder of Maxx Steel Services. He is an expert in the steel fabrication business. When he was young, Frank was always fascinated with the idea of building something that his community would use and that would withstand the test of time. During high school, he started working on small projects gradually working his way up to ironwork and learning to weld when he was nineteen years old.

After permanently moving to Colorado in 1986, he decided that the next step in his career was to start his own steel fabrication business. With a two year-old daughter at home and another on the way, Frank took his first Entrepreneurial leap into business ownership in the steel fabrication industry. Diversified Welding, Inc was a success and lead to several profitable ventures including Iron Works and Future Erectors.

For over three decades, Frank and his hard work have played an integral role in Colorado’s industrial growth. From the Western Slope to the Front Range and Pikes Peak Regions of this colorful state, Frank’s name is on many of the commercial buildings that you see in big cities. Closer to home, Frank’s trade has brought him success in Castle Rock, Colorado Springs, Highlands Ranch, Centennial, Parker, Aurora, Denver, Westminster, Littleton, Lakewood, Boulder, Longmont, Loveland, Fort Collins and even Black Hawk. Frank has truly been building Colorado’s future since 1989. To date, his count on commercial buildings and creative projects like custom railings is in the thousands.

Maxx Steel Services is Frank’s latest venture, focusing on custom projects for his local community in Morrison, Evergreen and Conifer. He is the only local service offering custom steelwork on US Route 285. He specializes in custom railings for indoor and outdoor areas, small building framework and accent pieces for log or custom built homes.

Today, Frank lives in Morrison Colorado with his beautiful wife in a log home he built himself. He’s the father of five successful children and grandfather to nine healthy grandkids.
