HISTORY

The MAITEK srl company was founded in 1999 with the aim of developing technologies for the mining sector and basing its activities on a staff of engineers and specialists with thirty years of experience in the field.

Since the first months of activity, the company has dealt with ecological and environmental problems connected with the processing processes of inert materials. Soon we came to the development of an exclusive system for the abatement of the powders that are produced during the processing and transport of the aggregates. Subsequently , decanting systems were developed for the recovery of the water used in industrial processes and systems for dewatering and disposal of sludge .

In 2002, the production of horizontal axis centrifugal dehydrating machines (decanters) began in the ' heavy duty ' version, particularly suitable for use in the mining sector. All our products are equipped with management systems characterized by a very high level of automation with the possibility of remote control and remote assistance.

Over the years, the growing environmental awareness has meant that new laws were applied in Italy, Europe and the world regarding the exploitation of quarries. Environmental problems linked to the scarcity of water resources, the disposal of sludge and the emission of dust into the atmosphere have become a priority for companies.

MAITEK offers customers an extremely wide and innovative range of products designed to face and solve these problems by responding to the new needs of the market.

These products include complete systems for dewatering sludge deriving from inert materials, centrifugal machines (decanters), plate filter presses, preparers for flocculants, tanks for sludge storage, systems complete with all the accessories necessary for automatic management, systems for the separation of solids from process water, water clarification, dust abatement systems for crushing plants, sand cycloning plants, aggregate washing plants, plants and machines for crushing aggregates, mobile or fixed plants for processing of aggregates recycling and shredding and separation of waste.
