Orin J. Mazzoni Sr. opened his first jewelry store in Weirton, West Virginia in 1933.  A watchmaker by trade, Orin Sr., devoted his younger years to building his reputation as a fine craftsman dedicated to superior service and quality work.  In 1953, Orin Sr. and his wife Mary moved their family and opened a new jewelry business in Garden City.  In the early years the Mazzoni family lived right above the jewelry store which was then located on the southwest corner of Ford Road and Middlebelt.  In 1965 Orin Sr. purchased and moved his jewelry business across the street to the Folker Building.  

In 1971, Michael Mazzoni decided to pursue a career in the family business.  After working for his family's business for more than 35 years, in April of 2005, Michael decided to open his own fine jewelry store, M Mazzoni Jewelers, in downtown Farmington. Michael has worked hard throughout the years to ensure he brings his customers nothing but the finest in gold, platinum and sterling silver jewelry, diamonds and colored gemstones.
