M-E-C's warehouse is stocked with critical replacement parts such as bearings, airlock seals and rotors, as well as couplings and spare trunnion wheels. These vital components are ready to ship immediately and our team will be there every step of the way to ensure productivity from start to finish.

Wood Fuel Pellets

Millions of tons of wood fuel pellets are manufactured in plants for residential heating and electric power plants. Wood fuel pellets are manufactured from wood residuals and sustainably managed forests. These wood particles must be dried before they are processed into densified pellets.

M-E-C Dryer Systems evaporate water from millions of tons per year of woody biomass.

Engineered Wood Products

Oriented Strand Board (OSB)

OSB is a wood-based product commonly used to replace plywood in structural board applications. Before being processed into board, these strands must be dried appropriately. Large strands for the production of OSB are dried in more than 100 custom designed M-E-C Dryers.

Particleboard (PB)

PB is an important replacement for plywood and is used to manufacture furniture for non-structural applications. Small wood particles are dried in M-E-C Rotary Drum Dryers before being processed into panels.

Medium Density Fiberboard (MDF)

MDF is used in the manufacturing of furniture and is commonly seen on window and door trim. MDF is manufactured from very fine particles of wood fiber, which must be properly dried prior to being pressed into board. M-E-C custom designs and fabricates flash tube dryer systems for this application.
