OUR COMPANY

LIPASAM is the municipal Public Cleaning company of the Seville City Council , responsible for cleaning the 1,077 km of roads, collecting urban waste and its subsequent treatment to save resources and prevent environmental pollution. For this task , LIPASAM has a staff of 1,809 men and women, 750 vehicles of different types, a Central Machinery Park, six Auxiliary Cleaning Parks, five Clean Points, a Transfer Station, three Pneumatic Waste Collection Centers, and Central Offices and finally with an annual budget (2022) of more than 104 million euros.

PRESENT

LIPASAM carries out its activities in the city of Seville, including the Home Collection of domestic, commercial, sanitary waste, and others; the cleaning of the city's Road Network, the Transport and Elimination of waste from the above services and all those activities aimed at street cleaning, collection, elimination and use of waste and environmental protection of the city.

LIPASAM DOES NOT carry out the following services and activities:

The year 1986 marks the beginning of the activities of LIPASAM as a Municipal Company responsible for the Public Cleaning Services of Seville, addressing the important task of updating the cleaning service both technically, humanly and economically.

From then to the present day the development has been constant both in updating and renewing the material, as well as in the training of the employees.

2020

Investment close to 1 million euros, in the purchase of 11 vehicles: 5 electric motorcycles, 2 electric sweepers, 3 electric cars for inspections and 1 compactor truck.

Implementation in the North and Macarena zones of the differentiated collection of bio-waste, with the installation in March of 100 containers in the neighborhoods of La Bachillera, San Jerónimo, Doctor Marañón, Las Golondrinas, Las Avenidas and Tres Huertas.

LIPASAM receives the Platinum Broom, international recognition for environmental protection, for the implementation of Ecopoints in Seville.

The application of a new waste collection model begins, which will enhance the collection system by means of lateral loading and will facilitate the citizens the selective collection of waste, through the creation of "Ecological Islands".
