Lake State Recycling Inc. was founded by Chris Baumgardt and Harley Hanson in 2010 in Nowthen, Minnesota. They started primarily recycling commercial electronic scrap and non-ferrous metals. Services now include e-scrap, non-ferrous, ferrous, precious metals, automotive, and catalytic converters. Lake State Recycling has now moved their operations to a new Elk River, Minnesota facility providing a larger, more convenient space to service customer needs.
