San Nicolò SRL is a company that carries out the recovery of special non-hazardous wood waste. We have been present since 1985 and operate throughout the Friuli Venezia Giulia region, partly also in Veneto, Austria and Slovenia.

We are authorized to transport and recover waste, specifically, we provide a recovery service for wood processing waste (pulverulent and otherwise), exhausted wooden packaging, waste from construction and demolition activities, wood deriving from separate waste collection, etc.

Our customers are present in many working fields, largely in the woodworking industry, as we can deal with any company that needs the disposal of wooden packaging, waste recovery and treatment plants and even construction companies of various kinds.

Who we are

After years of experience in the wood processing waste trade sector, La San Nicolò was founded in 1985 with the purchase of one of the first mobile chipping plants in Italy for the production of high quality wood chips for wood processing processes. smoking in the food sector, a product that until then was unobtainable on the domestic market.

The company took its first steps in the locality of San Nicolò di Manzano (from which it takes its name) by starting the production of virgin beech wood chips with a series of processes such as chipping, refining and screening in order to obtain the highest possible quality. Shortly thereafter, our product took hold in the Italian and foreign food industry market, causing considerable interest due to its aromatic yield. In the following years the company moved to the artisan area of ​​Pavia di Udine , starting a process of evolution by investing in the best technology, in search of new market outlets such as the panel industry (chipboard and fibre-wood) and thermal and electrical cogeneration. We promptly adapted to the new waste regulations (which directly affected wood industry processing waste) since they came into force in 1998, we can therefore define ourselves as experts in the sector of collection and recovery of NON-hazardous special waste.

Since the first year of activity, we have been collecting and refining virgin wood chips, sawdust and flours of various essences by collaborating with companies in the zootechnological sector present in our territory, we also produce virgin wood chips for biomass power plants.
