Formerly Juhl Wind, for over 35 years Dan Juhl led the development of community-based wind power with our farmer partners in rural America. Juhl is based in little Woodstock, Minnesota, where we have the only known corporate headquarters, completely off-grid, powered solely by wind and solar energy. We also have offices in Chicago, Madison, Milwaukee, Minneapolis, Red Lake Falls MN and Pipestone MN.

Juhl Energy operates three primary business segments: renewable energy development, renewable power plant ownership, and energy and telecommunications services. Through its Juhl Energy Development Inc. (JEDI) subsidiary, the Company provides medium and large-scale wind, solar, and cogeneration energy development services. With its acquisitions of the Valley View, Winona County and Woodstock Hills wind farms; the Company now owns and operates 21.7 MWs of wind power through its renewable power subsidiary, Juhl Renewable Assets, Inc. (JRAI). Through its third subsidiary, Juhl Energy Services, Inc. (JESI), and its acquisition of Power Engineers Collaborative, Inc., the Company provides a full range of engineering services to the energy industry, building systems markets, and heavy industry. JESI also provides full sales and service to smaller, on-site wind and solar projects through its Juhl Renewable Energy Systems division. JESI leverages the Company's deep experience with wind towers to also provide cell and radio tower services through its Juhl Tower Services division. Juhl Energy is based in Pipestone, Minnesota and has offices in Chicago, Minneapolis, Madison and Milwaukee. Juhl Energy is traded on the OTCQB under the symbol 'JUHL'.

Our History

Juhl began over 35 years ago, as a family business, founded by Dan and Mary Juhl. Dan was one of the first wind energy professionals in the United States and one of the first people to realize that the Buffalo Ridge area located in western Minnesota was one of the windiest places in America that happened to be positioned near a major population center – Minneapolis. Along the way, Dan and Mary moved to Woodstock, Minnesota to begin their own wind farm development and that is where our company is still headquartered today.

Even though Juhl is now a diversified public company operating in all areas of clean energy, we will never lose our roots and our commitment to Rural America and to Community Wind.
