Roofing is a fine craft that we here at J.R. Walker Roofing, take very seriously. Our founder, Jesse Walker, was taught to roof at the young age of 14 by his father, Uncle Sonny and Uncle Bob. Working alongside his family, he was quickly able to appreciate the value of hard work and dedication.

Jesse worked for different companies throughout the state, learning how to install all types of roofing systems. After some time in the business, he was able to see the disconnect between the customer’s and the estimator’s needs and he noted that it was the customer who suffered.

In 2011, Jesse launched his own business, committing to give customers something entirely different than other commonplace business practices. A hands-on approach for the craft, great service and detailed workmanship were all part of a system that sat a little better with him.

Hands-on means that his customers will notice that he gets on their roof for every estimate. Jesse is the owner, the project manager for all his jobs, and also a roofing technician (who happens to be a certified Master Craftsman). One thing he is not is a salesman. In fact, there is no such thing as a salesman here at J.R. Walker Roofing.
