Darlene and Eddie Jeter founded Jet-A-Way, Inc. in 1969 at their kitchen table on Lucerne Street, Dorchester, MA. With a $250 loan from the SBA, the Jeters purchased a six-wheel dump truck and went into the waste removal and building demolition business. Since that time the Jeter family has provided waste disposal and recycling services with roll-off containers in many sizes to suit large and small jobs. The family operated the only fully-licensed construction and demolition transfer station in the City of Boston for more than 30 years.

Now divested from the roll-off and transfer station business, Jet-A-Way now operates several rear-load commercial rubbish trucks that serve over 700 customers throughout the Metro Boston Area as well as its many neighbors.

Our goal is to best serve the communities where our business started: Dorchester, Roxbury, Mattapan, Roslindale, Jamaica Plain and Hyde Park. Our commercial waste disposal services are second-to-none and we ensure our recycling is sustainable and environmentally-friendly.
