Jay’s has been a trusted family owned and operated business since 1959. We started in the septic business with one man, one truck and a dream. This grew and grew again. In 1988 we added the portable toilet rental business – we are now Michigan’s largest portable toilet rental company.

The Can Man’s Story

We found the can man in one of our first ever dumpster rentals we received from a customer. Unbelievably he was just lying there, rusting away & neglected. With loving hands we pulled him out of the heap & named him Mel. He now has an honored place in our offices & has become our company mascot.
